We’re giving away stickers! (No, really!)
Each 2-by-3-inch1 vinyl label bears the atashi foundation’s magenta “a” kana logo — perfect for personalizing belongings, sticking things to each other, or taking part in guerilla marketing campaigns. The backing adhesive allows for easy removal and reapplication, should you be an indecisive decorator.
United States residents can get two stickers2 by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope3 to:
PUBLIC PROMOTIONS DEPARTMENT
THE ATASHI FOUNDATION
PO BOX 751
CHAPEL HILL, NC 27514
Those living elsewhere can just send a self-addressed envelope, along with a small souvenir as a substitute for American postage. Think outside the box!4
Supplies are limited; orders will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis until we run out of stock. U.S. residents should receive their labels in about two to three weeks. International mailings will, of course, take longer, depending on your location and how long it takes our staff to get over their shock that an order came from overseas.

- Or 50.8 by 76.2 mm.
- Reasonable requests for more will generally be honored.

Too young to have postal mail experience? Follow these
instructions:
- Acquire two envelopes and two first-class postage stamps.
- Turn both envelopes so that you’re looking at their blank sides, with their flaps opening up and away from you. At the top right corner of each envelope’s blank face, affix a single postage stamp.
- On one envelope (“A”), write the atashi foundation’s address in the top left, and your address in the center. On the other one (“B”), do the opposite: put your address in the corner, and ours in the middle.
- Leave envelope A unsealed and place it into envelope B. After making sure the outside envelope has your address in the top left, seal it.
- Deposit the finished packet into your nearest mail drop, and marvel at how anyone managed to survive without the Internet.
- Not too literally, though, or your order will be too unwieldy to send.
